As the weeks pass by and my stomach keeps growing, I can’t help but get more and more excited to meet McBaby in 15 short weeks!

Boot Camp ends next week and I started thinking about if I wanted to sign up for another 6 weeks. My initial thought was, ‘holy shit I’m going to be 33+ weeks pregnant – how the hell am I going to do this?” But then I quickly realized I need my Boot Camp…I need each and every one of them that is in that class. They support and encourage me to keep going and I can’t let that go just yet. I’m making a commitment today to continue Boot Camp as long as my body allows me to and take those extra rest days GUILT FREE!

I know people think I’m crazy, but until my Midwife tells me to put down that bar and to not step foot in that gym —  I will be in Boot Camp every Wednesday and Friday night until McBaby arrives!!

Now, lets get into that 25 Week update………

What fruit/vegetable are you? Cauliflower

Due date: May 20, 2016

How far along: 25 Weeks

Next appointment: February 16th.

Total weight gain/loss: No idea, my baby bump is definitely getting bigger and I love it!

Exercise: I’ve been doing my best to get myself moving every day, but I’ve noticed over the past week that it’s taking me longer to recover; especially after an intense Boot Camp session. Listening to my body and resting when it tells me to has been the biggest adjustment this week, but I will find that balance.

Stretch marks: I noticed a few becoming more noticeable on my lower back. Who knew your back could get stretch marks?

Swelling: None.

Maternity clothes: Still making it work with the clothes I already have. I know I’m “going to pop” soon – so I’ve been kind of pushing off clothes shopping.

Any Baby/Pregnancy-Related Purchases or Gifts: We stopped by the Carter’s outlet this weekend and picked up a few things – we added these cute things to the wardrobe along with ANOTHER hoodie!

I decided the other night to pull out all of the clothes that McBaby got so far so I can figure out what I have and what I really need….

There is no denying Tim is the father of this child, he isn’t even born yet and he has a collection of hats and hoodies. We are going to have one stylin’ boy on our hands.

Sleep: I hate to jinx it, but I haven’t been sleeping that bad. Some nights I’m wide awake at 3am, but I fall back asleep and wake up in the morning feeling pretty rested.

Food cravings: Brownie Batter Heart Donut from Dunkin Donuts to be exact.

Food aversions: The smell of beer on Tim’s breath made me gag a few times this week, but yet I still love the smell of beer!

Symptoms: Wanting to eat everything in sight….is that a symptom?

How is dad doing? Dad is enjoying being the Birthday Boy this week! He is excited to have a buddy to help blow out the candles with next year.

What I’m looking forward to: Spending Valentine’s day with my loves.

Missing anything this week? Warmer weather…the dog and I are missing our afternoon walks terribly. It has been so cold the past few days and crawling over snowbanks just doesn’t seem like an afternoon activity I want to start participating in. HURRY UP SPRING!

Best moment this week: One night this week Tim was cuddling my stomach and out the blue he says – “what the hell is that kid doing in there?” I couldn’t help but bust out laughing. I was so happy that he finally got to witness the crazy acrobats this kid has been performing over the past week. I think now he finally gets while I’m suddenly woken up in the middle of the night by our kid’s thrashing. We sure do have a bouncing baby boy on our hands!

Until next week!!

XO,
Angela
