Another week completed and only 29 more weeks to go!! This week was filled with Halloween fun as a pregnant nun, boot camp classes, and telling our oldest nephew that he is getting another cousin!

What fruit/vegetable are you? Lime

Due date:  May 20, 2016

How far along:   11 Weeks

Next appointment:   November 12th – we will finally get to hear our baby’s heart beat on the Doppler.

Total weight gain/loss: I’m trying not to weigh myself every day and not become obsessive. We will see where my weight gain/loss is at my next appointment.

Exercise: My regular Wednesday/Friday night Boot Camp group started back up this week and I was so excited to be back in the gym. I had to make some modifications and found myself taking a few more breaks than normal, but none the less, I left every night feeling accomplished. I am determined to be one fit mama!

Stretch marks: No new really cool lightning bolt tattoos yet!

Swelling: None, just lovely belly bloat.

Maternity clothes: Nothing new was added to my maternity wardrobe this week.

Any Baby/Pregnancy-Related Purchases or Gifts? My mom let me peek at a few things she bought for the baby!

Sleep: Terrible; I can’t seem to get comfortable.

Food cravings: Orange Juice.

Food aversions: No food aversions this week. Vegetables and salads are FINALLY making a comeback into my diet.

Symptoms: Besides the acne, tiredness, and bloating – nothing I can’t handle.

What I’m looking forward to:   Our next appointment; we keep counting down the minutes and the hours.

Missing anything this week?  Before being pregnant, I loved going to Boot Camp. I loved knowing that by the end of 6 weeks I was going to be able to do something I wasn’t able to do before. I lived for that feeling of reaching that wall in our workouts where we had to dig deep and give it our all to complete it. BUT this week, it was a whole different experience. When I reached those walls, I had to surrender. I knew it was my body telling me to slow down and recover. I crave intensity in my workouts, but now my workouts have a whole new meaning and purpose. I’m beyond excited that we are finally welcoming our first child and I’m determined to do everything in my power to keep me and baby perfectly healthy!

How is dad doing? His pregnancy cravings have started….uh oh!

Best moment this week: We told our oldest nephew that big news. His response; “oh you’re getting one?” Hand down, that was the best moment of the week!
