I can’t believe we’ve made it to 10 week already, it feels surreal. Tim and I find ourselves holding back our excitement at times because of our previous loss. I know in my heart that this time is different and our doctor as reassured us that there is nothing physically wrong for it to happen again.  Every day, I try to remind myself to let it go and just let things happen.

What fruit/vegetable are you? Prune

 Due date:  May 20, 2016

How far along:   10 Weeks

Next appointment:   November 12th – we will finally get to hear our baby’s heart beat on the Doppler.

Total weight gain/loss: I’m trying not to weigh myself every day and not become obsessive. We will see where my weight gain/loss is at my next appointment.

Exercise: I’m really looking forward to the spin class I signed up for this weekend for Breast Cancer Awareness month!

Stretch marks: No new really cool lightning bolt tattoos yet!

Swelling: None.

Maternity clothes: Nothing new added to my wardrobe this week.

Any Baby/Pregnancy-Related Purchases or Gifts? I purchased an ‘I love my cousins’ onsie to surprise my nephew and nieces with the big news!

Sleep: No problems sleeping this week, just the frequent trips to the bathroom at night tend to get old real quick.

Food cravings: Spicy Brown Mustard and Banana Peppers….and sometimes together.

Food aversions: No food aversions this week; salads still aren’t that appetizing though.

Symptoms: Terrible headaches.

What I’m looking forward to:   Getting back into Boot Camp! The next round of Boot Camp starts November 4th and I’m so happy that I am starting to feel a lot better so I can enjoy being with all my Boot Camp friends again!

Missing anything this week?   My Sunday morning long runs. Even though I was able to get in an enjoyable 3.5 mile run during the week, it made me miss the Sunday mornings I use to run around town and explore. I’m hoping my energy levels get the boost they need so I can incorporate more running into my weekly routine.

How is dad doing? Dad is already in protective mode and is taking really good care of his baby mama!

Best moment this week: Finally feeling better! This was the first week in a very long time that I felt energized and that I didn’t need to immediately go home and take a nap.

Until next week!
