This week completely flew by and I’m so grateful that I have this blog to turn to. It helps me remain present and embrace every little moment we experience. Some may think I come off as a Negative Nancy or that I’m too hard on myself, but that just isn’t the case. I made a conscious decision going into this pregnancy to make sure I have an open mind. I promised myself that I will surrender and release all control to this little baby that is growing inside of me. Its amazing that something weighing only a few ounces has complete hold over my mind, body and soul.
This week I fully embraced my growing waistline and the constant feeling that I’m going to bust out of my bra because no matter what happens in the next 25 weeks or so, we will be winning the grand prize!
What fruit/vegetable are you? Orange
Due date: May 20, 2016
How far along: 15 Weeks
Next appointment: December 8th
Total weight gain/loss: Still going strong and staying away from the scale.
Exercise: I have noticed that I have slowed down significantly at Boot Camp and my body is working a lot harder than it use to. So this week I tried really hard to not focus on speed and weight, but to really concentrate on executing great form and isolating the muscles I’m trying to work. I’m slowly starting to see the definition come back to my back and shoulders…and I can’t say I don’t love it!
Stretch marks: Nothing that wasn’t there before.
Swelling: None.
Maternity clothes: Nothing new added this week, but I did have to wear maternity jeans a few times! The muffin top look just wasn’t cutting it anymore.
Any Baby/Pregnancy-Related Purchases or Gifts: Our besties Bobby and Olivia got us the cutest gift ever!

In a few short weeks we will finally know if we are having a boy or a girl — what do you think we are having??
Sleep: Actually, this week my sleep has been AMAZING! I have been truly sleeping like a baby and I’m soaking it all up while I can.
Food cravings: After my 5k on Thanksgiving morning all I could think about was onion bagels. Well thank goodness for our McSiblings for providing me with (what seemed to be) the most heavenly NY onion bagel over the weekend.
Food aversions: Last week I couldn’t get enough of blue cheese dressing, but this week was a whole different story.
Symptoms: I started breaking out again this week, hopefully it clears up soon. I was starting to get use to having nice and clear skin.
How is dad doing? Dad eased up on the anxiety this week and was very easy going.
What I’m looking forward to: Seeing our little babe on the 8th. It has been about a month since our last ultrasound and I can’t wait to see how much our little McBaby has grown since.
Missing anything this week? Buttoning my skinny jeans.
Best moment this wee: Having a lot of family time over the Thanksgiving holiday….especially with my man Frankie.
Before I sign off, I want to give a big shout out to all our friends and family for constantly being there for us and helping us along away. AND a big hug to all my Tone It Up Beach Babes that inspire me each and every day to get out there and move!
Until next week!
